National Geodetic Survey offers various webinars on its tools.  On Feb 16th they will offer a webinar from 11-12:00 MT on one of my favorite tools, DS-World. DS-World works interactively with GoogleEarth in displaying the geodetic control in the NGS database, as well as access to information about the station, such as its accuracy, its datasheet and even a means to get directions to it.

ASPRS offers certification in GIS, Remote Sensing, and Photogrammetry,
in six categories!

ASPRS was the first professional organization to offer certification in these disciplines, and its certification program is the most robust.  The exams are difficult, and you need to know your stuff.
